About This Internship
Arch’s 10-week summer internship program offers students a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience in the insurance industry. It provides challenging learning experiences that serve as a foundation for interns to explore their career choices and to develop professional skills. Working alongside some of the most talented members of the specialty insurance industry, interns will gain relevant expertise in various aspects of the field, participate in learning activities and receive ongoing feedback.
About This Role
Assist the general counsel’s office of a publicly traded company with a range of corporate and regulatory matters.
Review and help prepare SEC filings.
Support the investment management business including review of non-disclosure agreements, investment management agreements and alternative investment legal documentation.
Review contracts and related agreements.
Perform research and prepare summary memorandum.
Qualifications
Actively completing area of study in Law School, pre-law, or relevant program.
Minimum 3.3 GPA or higher.
Currently attending law school or starting law school immediately following an internship.
Experience working within a corporate environment balancing competing priorities preferred.
Interest in the insurance and/or financial services industries preferred.
Corporate background or an interest in working at an international publicly traded S&P 500 company preferred.
Familiarity with the investment management business and/or legal documentation in support of an investment management business a plus.
Entrepreneurial spirit along with the desire to be a continuous learner.
Team player who collaborates effectively.
Self-starter who can work independently and deal effectively with multiple tasks/priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Location & Work Arrangement
The program dates are June 2 - August 8, 2025.
This position is classified as a hybrid position. You will work 2 days onsite and 3 days from home.
This position is in White Plains, NY.
Relocation and housing assistance is not provided for this role.

Pay
For individuals assigned to or hired to work in White Plains, NY, the hourly rate is $22-30 as of the time of posting. The breadth in the range exists to accommodate students in specialized programs such as actuarial candidates and graduate students. Any actual rate offered will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to geographic location, scope & responsibilities of the role, along with the education & qualifications of the candidate. The above range may be modified in the future. Intern position is eligible for select Arch benefits.
