In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
Work with application teams to ensure that applications are designed to perform optimally on CICS and MQ
Perform system tuning to ensure CICS and MQ is running optimally
Provide technical troubleshooting and support for CICS and MQ including engagement of IBM and vendors for problem resolution and determination
Provide process automation support and maintain SOP documentation
Support backup/recovery and disaster/recovery planning and testing
Support periodic system configuration reviews and audit reviews
Monitor CICS and MQ system performance and troubleshoot issues
Requirements
At least 10-15 years of experience working with CICS and MQ in a z/OS environment including experience with REXX, COBOL, JCL, TSO/ISPF
Install, configure, and upgrade CICS and MQ software
Familiarity and support of 3rd party software e.g. Omegamon, CICS PA, Fault Analyzer, APA etc.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
