What will your typical day look like?
Based out of Brisbane, you will be managing large organisations' tax function to achieve efficiencies in operations. You will manage the day-to-day tax affairs of clients, with a primary focus on bringing efficiencies in operations though transforming tax processes and technology.
Key attributes to be successful in this role are innovative approaches to managing a large organisation's tax function and maintaining strong relationships with our clients and global teams. You will be part of a high-performing and fast-growing team that really love what they do and be mentored by some of the best in this field. Some travel may be required.

In the Tax Operate team (part of Business Tax Advisory) you will work closely with clients, helping them solve their most complex business and tax issues, while managing their compliance obligations. You may have all or some of the following skills / experiences:
Prior experience at a Big 4, mid-tier professional or accounting services firm or relevant in-house expertise in managing an organisation's tax function.
Australian corporate income tax advisory and compliance experience relating to financial services industry is highly regarded.
Drive and passion for learning about the challenges of corporate tax.
Ability to build strong relationships with a range of clients.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
Strong sense of team and passion to develop others.
Degree qualified in Commerce and/or Law.
Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate tax.
Knowledge of managing or working with inhouse tax functions, tax effect accounting and tax software (e.g. CCH Integrator) is highly regarded.
