POSITION OVERVIEW: To provide site planning, exhibit preparation and due diligence management for development projects. Interfaces with: Development, Construction, Legal, Leasing and Accounting.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Site plan creation for new sites as required. This responsibility includes researching a parcel and determining potential physical constraints or other challenges and limits that may impact the site plan.
Create and manage an ongoing list of site plan needs communicating that list to your manager on a regular basis. This task includes pushing the necessary team members to provide any needed information to complete the plans.
Research of new projects relative to tax parcels and other physical limits for news sites including easements or other potential issues.
Completion of due diligence checklists.
Coordination of geotechnical, phase I ESA reports and other due diligence studies when needed for new projects. This responsibility includes obtaining proposals for all reports and preparing a budget for the due diligence of each project prior to release of any work.
Assist in project management tasks as assigned.
Exhibit creation for active projects for lease documents and REA/OEA documents. This responsibility includes active management of current exhibits for all documents and assurance that when a document is modified that all previous information has been included.
Assist the acquisitions team with early site evaluations. This will include helping them identify sites within a market that seems fitting for the tenants that need a site in that market, helping locate the information needed for the team to complete land contracts, helping determine any significant costs that may be associated with sites and giving the team input as to time frames needed in the contracts.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Civil Engineering. Ideal candidate is a self-starter and possess excellent critical thinking skills.
Computer Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite ACAD and Bluebeam Revu.
