Reporting to the Director of Endowment Services, the Program Assistant Director of Endowment Services supports the director in overseeing the operations and goals of Endowment Services, coordinates, and supervises daily operations, and ensures compliance with regulations and internal policies.
Essential Duties:
Responsible for thoroughly learning and understanding all existing and new information systems (Raiser's Edge, SharePoint, UT SHARE, UTIMCO's Component Reporting Information System, and FundMiner) in order to provide accurate, complete, and timely data to Endowment Services' customers.
Work with the director of Endowment Services to complete the electronic template for the Endowment Compliance Annual Report to UT System by inputting data from UT SHARE and UTIMCO web applications.
Assist in analyzing data to determine if spending totals are in line with UTA guidelines.
Provide support in presenting the report to the Endowment Compliance Committee.
Monitor expenditures from a rotating sample of endowed scholarship and graduate fellowship cost centers for appropriateness twice annually.
Exercise judgment on suitability of expenses and if appropriate, request and ensure corrective actions are taken by administering units.
Review drafts of endowment agreements and amendments to agreements with Development directors, route to UT System for review, submit signed agreements for approval by Board of Regents, and notify units when endowment is formally created.
Ensure that endowment records in Raiser's Edge and SharePoint are accurate, complete, and current to facilitate endowment donor stewardship and provide responses to inquiries for endowment information from inside and outside UTA.
Provide training and assistance to Endowment Services Coordinator as tasks require.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with two (2) years of experience as a project coordinator or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
One (1) year experience in a development/fundraising, university, or non-profit environment.
High level of computer proficiency, including proficiency using Microsoft Office suite.
Working knowledge of Raiser's Edge NXT platform and UT SHARE (PeopleSoft) Financial modules.
