Purpose of Role: The Oversight role is to assist the London Oversight team with their oversight and governance of Middle Office Operations services delivered out of Hyderabad, India. Key Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
Assist in defining and implementing the operating model, controls and ongoing performance monitoring
Act as a point of contact and escalation with the Hyderabad teams to co-ordinate and mobilise subject matter experts complex query resolution including breach reporting and actions to remediate
Objectively assess supplier performance on a prescribed frequency, working with them to remediate performance where required,
Act as liaison with Relationship Management Team, ensuring our service delivery is a seamless client experience,
Deliver excellent client service and client experience at all times, proactively managing escalations in an open and transparent manner
Operate, at all times, in accordance with robust procedures and controls
Work Parameters or Boundaries:
Ensure all activities are compliant with corporate standards.
Maintain clear and effective communications with immediate colleagues and Senior Management
Deliver high quality, professional service to all clients.
Adhere to internal procedures and best practices at all times.
Specific Qualifications/Skills:
Demonstrable passion or interest for client service stakeholders, using skills/experience built through significant practical experience or training (not essential),
Detail oriented and with high attention to accuracy,
Ability to work within established frameworks and procedures, with the freedom to interpret them to solve a range of problems
Comfortable dealing with ambiguity,
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure/ to deadlines.
Previous Level of Experience:
Basic knowledge of Middle Office Operations desirable
Knowledge of end-to-end operations model for investment management (front-to-back understanding) desirable but not essential
Intellectually curious with a willingness to challenge the status quo,
Previous (but not essential) relationship management experience with stakeholders, third party administrators and suppliers and advantage
Basic knowledge of operations, risk and supporting audits desirable but not essential.
