About Our Client
My client is a leading Banking & Financial Institution with global presence.
The Role
Assist in developing a 3-year strategic vision for the company's Life and Health Insurance business, covering Hong Kong, Macau and GBA markets, aligned with Group and division strategy
Conduct analysis of future strategic initiatives, including digital opportunities, partnerships, and mergers and acquisitions
Support planning and monitoring of FRP, CEO scorecard, and KPIs for HK & Macau Insurance businesses
Ensure alignment among business functions to improve performance
Prepare presentations and updates for Insurance/division Committees, Boards, and EXCOs
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute the strategy for HK Insurance, driving flagship projects based on customer needs and market trends
Monitor market developments, identify risks and opportunities, and provide strategic insights
Proactively manage and communicate with key stakeholders, including Group Insurance, Group Strategy, and division management
Demonstrate effective people and influencing skills, working collaboratively with internal and external teams
Encourage proactive planning, prioritize initiatives, and maintain regular team communication
Identify ways to improve team efficiency and boost morale
Key Requirements
Possess a graduate degree and preferably additional relevant qualifications in areas such as Finance or an MBA
Demonstrated understanding of technical aspects of Insurance, including accounting, actuarial, and product concepts
Familiarity with the external environment, including market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, political factors, and competitive landscape
Proven ability to analyze complex situations, make prompt decisions, and effectively solve problems
Display proactive initiative in addressing issues while managing diverse stakeholders and team members across different business units and locations
Extensive experience working within a global financial services organization, preferably within the Insurance sector
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on building relationships and managing stakeholders
Exhibits energy, enthusiasm, and a positive approach to influence and drive outcomes
Strong commitment to personal and professional growth and development
Fluent in Cantonese, English, and ideally Mandarin
