Job Summary:
Hiring an Associate Network Infrastructure Administrator to support network security, performance, and availability. Responsibilities include collaboration with infrastructure teams, assisting in testing and implementation, and providing technical support. Requires 2-3 years' experience, project collaboration skills, and familiarity with networking trends and cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer, set up, and maintain the security posture of the network infrastructure.
Collaborate with other infrastructure teams (e.g., Security, Server, Storage, Mainframe) to ensure business application service availability.
Maintain network infrastructure in compliance with security guidelines.
Assist with testing, implementation, and installation of new infrastructure or application systems.
Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues to ensure optimal performance.
Ensure availability and optimal performance of network infrastructure to support business applications for both public and staff.
Maintain system documentation and provide technical support to application teams.
Participate in Disaster Recovery Operations and perform problem analysis and resolution implementation to support system and application needs.
Raise and follow up on any problem cases with software vendors until issues are resolved.
Apply regular maintenance and patching to resolve known or reported defects and security alerts.
Monitor and maintain system availability and optimal performance in a 24x7 operating environment.
Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in network infrastructure administration or related roles.
Experience collaborating in project teams, delivering on key project milestones, and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Knowledge of conducting impact analysis, strategizing, planning, and executing upgrades to new versions.
Ability to provide 24x7 on-call support on a rotation basis, occasionally requiring work outside normal business hours for critical tasks.
Familiarity with the latest networking trends and patterns, including those in the Commercial Cloud.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes of issues through effective questioning.
