Global Banking & Markets - FICC Solutions Structuring Structuring is a front office role interacting with Trading, Sales, and Quantitative Research. Our FICC Structuring Desk is composed of various teams focused on: Structured Products, Risk Recycling, and Systematic Trading Strategies. We are seeking an experienced Global Markets professional with a demonstrated history in structuring fixed income solutions. As an associate, you will be working in a challenging yet rewarding environment where you have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge on Credit and Rates Structured Products, and to build your own network within the firm. The Role As part of one of these Front Office teams, you will work closely with Sales, Trading and Quantitative Research. You will work on several of the following subjects:
To design derivatives and develop innovative, bespoke Structured Products on Credit, Rates, and hybrid underliers
To work closely with Sales and Trading to respond to RFQs, execution, market monitoring , designing client pitches, working with Origination, Legal, Product Control, and the operations teams to ensure smooth functioning across the Structured Fixed Income business
To explore market dislocations and create tailored thematic trade strategies for our clients
To develop and pitch creative solutions to our clients including bespoke combinations of Asset Solutions, Systematic Trading and Hedging Strategies
To collaborate with Quantitative Strategists and Trading on pricing models
Qualifications and Skills
Experience in a similar role required.
Candidate needs to demonstrate Intellectual curiosity, a proactive attitude and an eagerness to learn
Strong written/verbal communication skills: the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple and intuitive way
Strong teamwork skills are essential, great attention to detail, ability to multi-task
Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a good understanding of derivatives (some experience on a Structuring/Trading desk is a plus)
Programming Skills required (Experience in Python/C++ is a plus)
Excellent academic background (Bachelor/Master level in quantitative fields such as (but not exclusively) Statistics, Econometrics, Operations Research, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Physics)
