Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Fuel Oil Operator will be responsible for coordinating the movement of physical products based on supply and demand plans while ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards. This includes liaison with ship-owners/ brokers for ship availability and shipping freight for products. Activities will be done in close tandem with traders and charterers, providing effective operations support.

The Fuel Oil Operator will also be responsible for overseeing inventory optimisation, understand and proactively manage demurrage risks and generate forecast/ schedule reports for the wider operations department.

Requirements:

The successful candidate should ideally be a bachelor's degree holder or equivalent with 3-5 years of relevant operations experience in petroleum products. Candidates with strong expertise in marine chartering, product specifications and grades, and freight operations will be considered favourably. You will also be described as detail-oriented, resourceful, and methodical.
