Our Quantitative Fixed Income Engineering team, a part of the Group Strategy Analytics group, are building applications that deliver quantitatively led pricing and trading solutions for the Rates & Credit business. You will work closely with engineers, quants and traders using modern C++ standards supported by the latest versions of GNU Compiler Collection (GCC) and Clang compilers to deliver high performance, low latency trading applications that have a business impact.

Your key responsibilities
Providing clear technical management to the low latency engineering team
Close collaboration with quants & traders on topics that help drive the high performance trading infrastructure forward including the design of new features & requirements
Developing new software to meet desk goals
Participate fully in code reviews as both an author and a reviewer
Investing in automated testing coverage and test driven development
Your skills and experience
Excellent modern C++, preferably on Unix/Linux
High performance and/or low latency development experience
Experience and understanding modern patterns for continuous delivery of software
Python and shell scripting experience in a Unix/Linux environment
Experience of leading small, highly technical teams to deliver complex projects
