Commercial Management Accountant | Investment Banking| Day rate £450-£500 (Umbrella) | 6 month Contract | London - Hybrid
A global Investment Bank is looking to hire a Management Accountant position within their London finance team.
Responsibilities
Play an integral role in the annual budgeting/forecasting process
Ensure correct input of Budget information into bank financial systems of the budget and forecast
Run monthly process to prepare the global reports for meeting and add commentary to regions
Liaise with the project office, HR and with the Central Finance Reporting team to ensure consistency of all
Reconcile and control check Global PM figures with Local reporting P&L
Review Balance Sheet Recs for areas
Review Aged accruals to ensure timely receipt of invoices
Provide the Global PM team with actual, budget and forecast commentaries for the departments under
Perform SAP cost reviews for monthly closing
Ad hoc assistance cross remit as required with the annual budget/forecast processes
Requirements
Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent)
Knowledge of General Ledger systems - Essential (SAP)
Systems such as Hyperion Essbase/ Oracle Smartview experience - Desirable
Strong ability to interrogate, analyse and interpret data and produce variance analysis
Time Management
Intermediate MS Office skills including Excel and Powerpoint is essential
Prior experience of cost accounting and preparation of management commentaries
