Who we are looking for: Under the supervision of the Team Supervisor, the Senior Fund Expense Accountant is responsible for monitoring all fund expense processing functions. The Senior Fund Expense Accountant is responsible for verifying and reviewing the work performed by the EMEA Central Expense Team and for assisting the Team Supervisor in all aspects of his/her responsibilities. The Fund Cost Accountant is responsible for timely reporting to the Fund Accounting Team and prior checking of checklists. As an experienced fund expense accountant, plays a key role in training and developing new team members, is the first point of contact for all inquiries and provides on-the-job training for less experienced employees. The senior fund expense accountant works with other departments to obtain key data for service provision, error resolution and accounting discrepancies related to fund costs.
What you will be responsible for: TECHNICAL SKILLS
Performing calculations and applying fees, expenses and rebates to accounting accounts within the specified time and with the required accuracy
Consideration of the impact of daily expenses on the value of the fund
Implementation of changes in the budget and schedules of fees and expenses of investment funds in accounting systems based on received instructions
Cooperation with other departments within the company and supervisory departments in order to obtain appropriate baseline information, solve problems and eliminate accounting discrepancies
Documentation of performed activities, preparation of a checklist
Timely delivery of results
COMMUNICATION
Providing timely professional responses to all inquiries
Resolve issues identified by Senior Fund Expense Specialist and Team Manager and report on progress
Keeping your supervisor informed of all ongoing issues/issues/enquiries.
Taking care of building and maintaining good relations with colleagues and internal clients
ORGANIZATION
Ability to work under time pressure and complete tasks within a tight schedule

Keeping the desk clean, taking care of document archiving and office space
Ensuring work efficiency at the appropriate level
TRAINING AND INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT
Provides guidance and training for employees on daily duties. Training and support for less experienced employees in accounting procedures and processes
Active participation in the training and development of own and other group members' skills as required
Active participation in the assessment process by self-assessment and proposing development goals
Defining your goals and ensuring their implementation and updating in cooperation with the Senior Accountant or Team Manager at the beginning of each year

Level Of Education and Previous Level Of Experience:
Accountancy or Business related degree (preferred)
1-2 years of experience in accounting for investment funds.
