Your key responsibilities:
The key responsibility of the role is to support APAC Cash Operations Head in establishing and executing APAC operating model.
Candidate is expected to have a deep understanding of the evolving industry trends for core cash operations products and processes as well as regional and global operations demands. Roles and responsibility involve the following aspects,
Transformation:
Lead and drive Cash operations transformation agenda, includes establishing and monitoring the book of work at regional level. Working with key stakeholders, partners to drive on time and quality execution and achieve cost target
Drive operational solutioning for new business growth for new economic clients
Drive effective and efficient operating model, includes nearshoring and offshoring .
Risk & Control
Working with APAC Cash ops head to enhance effective and efficient risk and control framework for APAC locations
Focusing on driving consistency, standardized and simplified processes across all APAC locations.
Production Support:
In assistant to the APAC cash operations head, act as an escalation channel for relevant operational issues. Partner with stakeholders and IT partners to consistently improving our production stabilities.
Drive root cause resolution or options articulation around any problems or challenges that crop up in the course of execution of above initiatives.
Your skills and experience:
Minimum 12 years' experience in a Financial Institution with Corporate and Transaction Banking business, Cash and Payments-related Products & Operations experience
Proven hands on experience in driving APAC enterprise level operational transformation project rollout, influencing and driving decision with senior stakeholders; ability to identify and prioritize multiple tasks
Proven track records in designing and implementing both effective and efficient risk and control framework
Strong analytical skills, able to demonstrate flexibility regarding problem solving
Ability to understand different business processes across cash functions and locations especially in the Asia Pacific region
Take ownership and able to work in tight deadlines fast-paced environment.
Manage complexity and ambiguity well with proven skills to take leadership in within an operational setup
Entrepreneurial thinking and acting at all times, taking ownership for instigating and executing initiatives
Working knowledge of automation toolkit such as Tableau, Alteryx and Robotic Process Automation
Working knowledge of human centered design/ design thinking
Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
