Who we are looking for We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst for Audit, Assistant Vice President, who will be responsible for examining and evaluating the effectiveness, efficiency and compliance of Internal Audit activities by assisting in managing, promoting and maintaining the Division's Quality Assurance and Improvement Program within Corporate Audit. In this role, you will execute projects independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborate with team members and members of the Audit Department. The position is based in Poland (Krakow) and the ideal candidate will have understanding of and experience with ECB/UK regulations in order to support the EMEA audit teams.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.

What you will be responsible for As Quality Assurance Analyst for Audit, Assistant Vice President you will:
Execute Quality Assurance reviews of Internal Audit work to challenge the scope and conclusions of audit work, assess adherence to audit methodology and best practices and sufficiency of risk coverage based on industry experience and regulatory knowledge.
Assess compliance of EMEA Audit practices and reviews with local European regulations
Proactively monitor for changes to industry and regulatory requirements and guidance
Assist in further developing the quality assurance and improvement program to align with industry best practices.
Perform targeted and thematic QA reviews of the audit department's work, assist with other policy and methodology related matters, and conduct self-assessments.
Develop training based on results of quality reviews and observations based on research of best practices in local markets.
Manage relationships with local stakeholders in Europe and UK.
Partner closely with Audit teams to advise on audit best practices and methodology.
Collaborate in the improvement of data-driven continuous monitoring and reporting for the Quality Assurance team.
Provide ongoing measurement and analyses of Corporate Audit performance.
Participate in Division-wide initiatives.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor Degree is required, Master Degree is a plus.
5+ years internal audit experience gained in a complex financial services environment and/or in internal audit technology platforms, infrastructure or data analytics role or a related field, or quality assurance experience in a risk management or internal audit function.
Excellent understanding of audit practices and methodology and IIA industry standards.
Relevant qualifications such as CIA, CISA or global equivalents are a plus
Technical (e.g., IT, model, Data Analytics) skills are a plus.
