The WM Process Transformation & Workflow Solutions (PTWS) team is responsible for driving business transformation across Wealth Management and beyond; consulting with business units as they increase maturity with a focus on people, process, and technology to ultimately improve client experience. The (PTWS) Team identifies strategic opportunities by assessing the operating model and technology platforms within Wealth Management to improve efficiency and client service. The team currently leads various strategic business initiatives by developing solutions for complex problems, driving technology changes, and liaising with senior stakeholders.
We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join this dynamic team. The candidate will have a unique opportunity to engage with various stakeholders surrounding a key business initiative and leverage advanced technologies. Primary focus will include overseeing the Account Review Modernization ARM platform that supports a dynamic and multi-phase project to transform the firm's existing client onboarding, account approval and KYC/EDD Enhanced Due Diligence process. The candidate will lead a team that drives the creation of business requirements, new designs, and support existing platform solutions within an agile framework.
We are seeking a smart, passionate, detail-oriented team player who enjoys interacting with a diverse set of people solving tough problems and challenging the status quo to design solutions to enhance the strategy and service platform portfolio to create process efficiencies and new business opportunities.
Primary Responsibilities:
> Lead product owners for a large-scale high profile account review and approval redesign project across multiple business channels applied firm-wide, ensuring alignment, cohesiveness, and messaging across the initiative. > Partner with various stakeholders - Technology, UX, Operations, Global Financial Crimes, AML, Financial Advisor teams, to identify, assess & manage process change solutions. > Identify and develop areas for improvement including system enhancement, process controls to improve the throughput, quality of work, supervisory reviews. > Drive new engagements for business transformation portfolio to uncover new opportunities and create business cases for future initiatives that have a strong ROI. > Lead conversations across multiple stakeholder groups; freely developing networks, building consensus, and prioritizing deliverables clearly and effectively to manage multi-faceted roadmaps. > Perform strategic business analysis, oversee the creation of detailed technology requirements (use-cases, user stories, or any other artifacts) and provide subject matter expertise to embed technology solutions and business strategies to current platforms and operating models. > Manage efforts to incorporate new technology capabilities onto the WM Workflow Ecosystem

Qualifications: > At least 12 years of relevant experience in software or product implementation, consulting or careers where a similar skill set is developed and demonstrated. > Bachelor's Degree required. Master's degree will be a plus. > Experience with Agile or application development methodology for technology projects is a plus. > Strong analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to define complex business problems, synthesize data, and provide and execute on tactical and strategic solutions. > Knowledge of Software development life cycle (SLDC) and understanding of Product Management software such as JIRA is a plus. > Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 and $235,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
