Job Description
Fantastic opportunity for a skilled QA with a proven track record in test automation to join one of the world's most prestigious hedge funds.
You will draw on your financial services experience to plan, document and execute tests against software products, including core trading infrastructure components and market connectivity systems. You will join a global Fixed Income team, facing off to Portfolio Managers and Quants, and working with them in the different trading pods. Your work will be a mix of building, running and analysing the results of automated test cases, improving system testability (alongside developers), and implementing automated solutions for regression, interoperability, stress and latency testing.
The successful QA Engineer will enjoy facing off to the business, and have outstanding communication skills across all levels of technical understanding.
Skills and Experience Required
Substantial quality assurance experience within financial services technology
Strong FIX protocol knowledge is a must-have, versions FIX 4.2 - FIX 5.0
Demonstrable ability to build automated test cases and harnesses, plus Unix experience
Experience testing the following products: Equities, Options, FX and Futures
Bachelor's (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, from a top-tier university
Desirable
Knowledge of Fixed Income products (Bonds, ETF), RFQ workflow, and familiarity with trading venues
Shell scripting skills are a big plus
