About our client
We are collaborating with a global investment fund based in Qatar. They are looking for someone to join their real estate department within the post-acquisition investment management team. The role's primary objective is managing existing real estate investments, with a keen focus on local subsidiaries and international investments.
The ideal candidate will have extensive real estate investment management and/or execution experience. What the job involves
Contribute to the real estate investment strategy, including analysis of historic and forecast returns
Review and prepare asset-specific business plans detailing key performance indicators
Monitor and report on underlying asset/investment performance
Prepare quarterly and ad-hoc performance reports for management
Liaise with local asset/property managers and ensure compliance with financial reporting requirements
Review valuation models and coordinate with valuation advisers
Stay updated on market trends and conduct ongoing market research
Who we are looking for
Significant real estate experience, including experience in real estate investment management and execution
Experience in a leading real estate investment fund or real estate investment company preferred. Experience in investment banks or real estate advisory firms are also considered
MENA regional experience is highly advantageous
High-quality education from a leading university (Bachelor's degree at a minimum)
Relevant professional financial qualification (CFA, RICS, Chartered Accountant)
Strong analytical, financial modelling, communication and presentation skills
