We're seeking a future team member in the role of PROGRAM DATA LEAD to join our ENTERPRISE DATA MANAGEMENT team. This role is in PITTSBURGH, PA - HYBRID.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Guide a diverse, federated team of data, technology and business professionals to ensure the robust data governance of large, regulatory or high-priority enterprise programs
Facilitate the creation of data contracts between a program's data consumers and the data producers that provide highly governed authoritative data sources to meet the consumers' needs
Establish a delivery plan across multiple agile delivery teams to produce reusable governance artifacts, including data quality controls that ensure sustainable, high quality data
Communicate and promote the Data Governance Contract Lifecycle, influence stakeholders, and provide guidance and support to team members as the assigned work is being delivered
Work with program delivery leads, supporting technology teams and other stakeholders to determine an understanding of the work and expectations required to be delivered by the program team
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data governance, data architecture, and data engineering to ensure alignment and integration of data governance efforts
Drive cultural change and organizational adoption of modern data management practices, methodologies, and technologies in alignment with regulatory expectations and industry best practices
Play a critical role in shaping the future of data management and enabling the bank to harness the full potential of its data assets
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Advanced degree in business management, computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
10+ years of program/project management experience; 5+ years of data governance, data management and/or IT services management experience; experience in the financial services industry is a plus
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage large scale, cross functional projects, and initiatives from inception to completion. Experience with governance structures, processes, and metrics to monitor progress and impact
Proven ability to lead and inspire cross -functional teams and drive cultural change within an organization. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills are essential.
Ability to develop and manage IT processes and controls in collaboration with an enterprise process design team to ensure quality is maintained to meet business objectives.
Deep understanding of data management principles, practices, and technologies, including data architecture, data quality, and data governance.
Ability to coach, train, and guide process stakeholders and team members, providing technical expertise and advice to data, technology and business process practitioners and users
Ability to contribute to the achievement of organizational objectives and to drive the strategic direction of process and tools throughout the organization
