Department: IBD & GCM Technology (IBGCMT)
IBD & GCM Technology , a part of the wider IST Division , focuses on supporting the complex and evolving needs of two of the firm's most prestigious and market leading businesses, Investment Banking & Global Capital Markets . Our group partners closely, at all levels within the business, to provide a wide variety of technology solutions including the management of highly sensitive data, content creation, real time electronic trading and data modeling. Role
A good candidate will have a track record of strong product and program management and experience working within an Agile framework.
Core Responsibilities â?¢ Work with business partners to identify opportunities and define goals for various initiatives â?¢ Play a key role in articulating detailed requirements and acceptance criteria â?¢ Coordinate across business, user experience and technology teams to drive delivery â?¢ Prepare detailed specifications and supporting documents to guide development teams as needed, including assisting in designing and reviewing test cases â?¢ Meet deadlines and communicate delays in a timely manner â?¢ Manage and coordinate multiple Agile teams delivering your projects in partnership with lead technical engineers â?¢ Define and drive adoption of product management standards within the department â?¢ Collaborate with other teams within the organization on project work and to further best practices
Key Experience â?¢ 10+ years of experience in a product management role â?¢ Experience in an Agile setting writing user stories, acceptance criteria, epics and organizing the backlog according to the overall roadmap â?¢ Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact effectively with business stakeholders to understand the business and gather requirements â?¢ Highly detail-oriented with a strong ability to manage and execute simultaneous projects and tasks â?¢ Self-motivated, with a high level of initiative â?¢ Ability to work efficiently and independently â?¢ Proficiency in MS Office and related applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Project )
Skills Desired â?¢ A degree in computer science, business or related fields â?¢ User Experience design background â?¢ Experience at an investment bank or other leading financial services firms â?¢ Comfort working with ambiguity, managing and resolving complex issues â?¢ Experience with SQL and tools such as Tableau to query data for analysis and visualization

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $140,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs #LI-TS2
