The Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Global Investment Office (GIO) is seeking an ambitious research technology and digital operations analyst to support investment content and publishing platforms. This role will be on the COO Team reporting to the Head of Technology & Digital Platforms. The successful candidate will help to drive analyst and financial advisor facing technology platforms, provide creative thinking and innovative ideas, and ensure adoption of solutions across the department. These platforms include data, research authoring, multi-channel distribution, advanced analytics, CRM and legal and compliance-based systems. The candidate will work closely with the Analysts, GIO senior management, and the global IT organization to ensure the technology requirements meet business goals and needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project and program management and will possess competency in idea generation, project planning, business analysis, and user adoption of new tools and technologies. There will be an opportunity to participate in broader department strategic initiatives as well.
Roles / Responsibilities: â?¢ Facilitate daily meetings with Agile Squads to establish priorities to ensure they are aligned with project objectives, delivering business value, and gathering client requirements. â?¢ Partner with scrum master, stakeholders, UX designers, developers to optimize delivery strategy for implementation, testing, delivery support and maintenance of projects. â?¢ Manage projects that have multiple dependencies across the various groups in the Global Investment Office and routinely meet with stakeholders to ensure projects are meeting the needs of the business. â?¢ Create and present reports / status updates to department leadership; define and track KPIs for projects. â?¢ Manage analytics for digital platforms and other ad hoc projects for the COO team.
Qualifications: â?¢ Bachelor's degree required â?¢ Minimum 3 years related work experience â?¢ Strong interest in the financial markets â?¢ Experience working in Agile framework â?¢ Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to multi-task and manage multiple high-level projects concurrently â?¢ Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills â?¢ Good attention to detail and good organizational skills â?¢ Ability to indirectly manage virtual team members from diverse cultural backgrounds â?¢ Knowledge of data analytics and visualization, in addition to Excel, PowerPoint and other business software â?¢ Must have the ability to work independently and be self-motivated and a solid team player

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $60,000 and $110,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
