Private Credit & Equity (PC&E") consists of a team of over 230 professionals globally managing ~$47 billion of client capital in direct private equity and credit investment across a broad spectrum of industries within the MSIM umbrella. The Morgan Stanley Private Equity Secondaries Team (PE Secondaries" or the Team") within PC&E commenced operations in 2000. The Team has a long history of private equity investing in a diverse range of global opportunities and seeks to rely on the combination of deep investment expertise, direct operating knowledge and consulting experience that has been continually refined over the years.
The Analyst/Associate role is key central point of support for the Principals and COO which involves significant coordination front-to-back across the platform including Deal Team, Portfolio Services, Investor Relations and Legal and Compliance. The Analyst/Associate will work closely with the COO and Principals on various funds across the PE Secondaries platform and execute on initiatives related to the overall Fund operations, fundraising and marketing.
Position Responsibilities: - Directly impact Secondaries fundraising efforts and ongoing client service through product marketing and investment and operational due diligence process. - Coordinate closely with sales, marketing, product specialists and management teams on all aspects of fund marketing. - Creating fund update presentations and customized decks for clients and prospects, including responding to global requests in collaboration with MSIM partners - Collecting and analyzing data related to both the Fund and the broader market - Develop due diligence materials and responses for due diligence questionnaires (DDQs"), and requests for proposals (RFPs"). - Assist with investor onboarding in partnership with investor services / fund admin - Become familiar with and able to communicate details around fund products and strategies including investment level information. - Communicate with Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Operations to ensure proper management of investor accounts - Assist in the Quarter-End update process - specifically updating existing marketing collateral and ensuring content is approved by key stakeholders prior to distribution. - Involved in fund performance, analysis and attribution reporting in support of marketing materials - Partner with Technology to enhance automation, ensure information is up to date in reporting portals, and identify productivity and efficiency opportunities; define business requirements for technology initiatives and ensure effective implementation and deployment of solutions - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Mathematics or related field - One - three years of experience in investment management supporting private equity funds - Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, databases, reports and charts - Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills - Ability to work within a team and under tight deadlines - High commitment and strong self-motivation - Strong work ethic - Committed to deliver the highest quality work product, strong attention to detail - Proactive; self-motivated and goal oriented - Ability to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks - Strong management and team-building skills and experience

Wage Transparency Statement Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $85,000.00 and $130,000.00 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
