Team / division overview
Hong Kong trading desk is a multi-asset desk currently with 3 traders, looking for the 4th. We handle all orders that need to be executed during APAC time zone, involving most of the markets in the region across all asset classes.
Your responsibilities
As our trading analyst, you will:
Execute trades on behalf of the funds as per Portfolio Manager (PMs) instructions across asset classes in the APAC
Understand our investment strategy, our views and context of the trades
Provide market intelligence and flow information to add value
Participate in and contribute to internal investment meetings
Individual must have good communication skills as an important part of the role involves trade/market context dialogue with both PMs and counterparties
Maintain and improve broker relationships
Assist in other daily tasks such as P&L analysis or trade reporting
We are looking for
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional certification
0-1 years of relevant experience in an investment-related role ideally in sales and trading
Fast learner and can perform under pressure
Passionate about market and multi-asset
Proficiency in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
