The US Client and Business Analytics (US CBA) team is looking for a highly motivated, detail oriented, individual to become a member of a global team that reports to the Global Head of Client Business Development and Strategy for the Institutional Equity Distribution. The CBA team is responsible for providing strategic client insights that create competitive advantages for the firm.
The Client and Business Analytics team provides mechanisms to identify, analyze, and prioritize new business opportunities with our clients. We evaluate and integrate data from multiple sources including but not limited to revenues, interactions, and client votes to create intelligence and insight around trends of the IED client business. We help facilitate cross-firm communication and coverage on top S&T accounts.
Primary Responsibilities: â?¢ Execute on the Institutional Equity Division's client strategy across client segments, focus areas, and target client sets â?¢ Develop, maintain, and share timely analyses and presentations for senior management, desk managers, and sales/sales traders â?¢ Provide consultation and analytics for weekly IED account review meetings â?¢ Manage external benchmarking survey submissions and coordinate distribution of results to senior management and local product managers â?¢ Coordinate across IED and Research on the division's vote management processes â?¢ Work closely with IT to develop and implement workflow/CRM solutions to drive behavior aligned with our strategy â?¢ Work with financial controllers to drive continued improvement in the accuracy of our client revenue figures â?¢ Exceptional ability to analyze and manipulate data; proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and other data analysis software â?¢ Self-motivated, self-starter individual with strategic thinking, that thinks as an owner, has a hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset on finding new opportunities â?¢ Superior verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability of dealing with clients (internally and externally) at all levels and responding to detailed and challenging questions â?¢ Wiling to act on and embrace Morgan Stanley's 5 Core Values â?¢ Transparent, open, inclusive, team worker â?¢ Analytical, creative and innovative approach to solving problems â?¢ Ability to manage and complete multiple and simultaneous projects with tight deadlines â?¢ Troubleshooting mindset with strong attention to detail â?¢ Ability to think creatively and strategically, and thrive in a dynamic and often ambiguous work environment â?¢ Comfort and ability to face off with senior management â?¢ FINRA Series registration preferred
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $150,000 and $200,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
