An insurance partner in Atlanta, Georgia is looking to bring on a Sales Coordinator to provide support to the Head of Sales. They will research, analyze and evaluate business possibilities, and help facilitate individual sales. They will serve as a direct point of contact for current and new agents. They will be instrumental in promoting company values, assessing needs of agents, and providing solutions. Please see responsibilities below:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
· Primary role is to provide administrative sales support to the Head of Individual Sales
· Scheduling and organizing agent meetings, conferences, and teleconferences.
· The ability to generate and track sales leads, manage various tasks and identify sales opportunities to support targeted sales recruits.
· Must be able to work with operations team to resolve issues and inquiries for clients.
· Prepare presentations for brokers and clients; analyze client and market data, current and proposed product designs, market comparison data and strategies for initial sales options.
· Negotiate proposals with Underwriting and/or appropriate stakeholders
· Must stay current with insurance trends and products through conferences and continuing education.
· Handle a volume of daily outbound calls to current agents, and inbound calls regarding requests from clients.
· Display a strong knowledge of the company product lines and services.
· Assist with training and education of agents.
· Assist with marketing and operational projects
· Must be willing to cross-train on all pertinent department functions.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
· 3+ years of experience with Medicare insurance
· Working knowledge and experience with Salesforce work tools
