The Cross Markets Group (CMG) is a classic investment banking team with dedicated bankers that spans all industry sectors, including TMT, Industrials, Consumer Retail, Healthcare, Natural Resources, Real Estate and Financial Institutions. The CMG team is focused on expanding Investment Banking's coverage of corporate clients and sponsor portfolio companies as well as financial sponsors, and provides M&A, financing and other corporate finance solutions to those clients. Our analysts and associates gain meaningful exposure to deal execution and work with founders, sponsors and executives to deliver quality advice and execution across products. Information & Data Analytics Associates within CMG will work with public and private clients across a range of subsectors, including but not limited to Information Services, Marketing Technology, Vertical Software, etc.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of work experience or MBA degree with 1+ year of relevant experience
Investment banking experience required
TMT, Technology, or Software Investment Banking sector experience preferred
Experience with due-diligence and transaction execution processes required
Experience with buy-side and sell-side M&A, equity and debt financing transactions required
Strong financial modelling skills and experience of building/maintaining operating models required
Experience of preparing and maintaining industry/company presentations and benchmarking materials and other process documents required
Experience of financial valuations with knowledge of DCF, LBO, merger modelling, comparable companies, precedent transactions etc. required
Strong team orientation and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Solid work ethic, motivation level, and strong attention to detail
Personal integrity, initiative and leadership qualities
Capacity to interact and build relationships with a wide range of people and act as a point of contact
Salary Range The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150000-$225000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
