Overview
Group Audit (GA) is a professional, business focused, proactive risk-based global function that operates with transparency, integrity, and independence, and assists the Bank's business and infrastructure areas to identify key control weaknesses. As Principal Auditor - Model Risk Management (MoRM), you will report to the Principal Audit Manager (PAM) for US Financial Risks.
The models team covers all model risk across the Bank in the US. You will be responsible for the risk assessment, planning, execution and delivery of audits covering the MoRM function in collaboration with resources from other audit teams within the region and respective locations. The successful professional will interact with MoRM staff and senior contacts and will be expected to work in partnership with Group Audit colleagues globally to execute audits to fulfil coverage requirements and cover the highest areas of risk.

What You'll Do
Deliver assignments within the MoRM audits or participate in Integrated Business and MoRM audits both locally and globally
Contribute to Risk Assessment Profiles / Business Monitoring and overall implementation of Group Audit Methodology
Plans audits e.g. documenting activity flows of the processes to be reviewed, identifies risks and the key actual controls in place to mitigate the identified risks and attends meetings with internal stakeholders as and when required
Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls relating to risks involved in the relevant business areas in accordance with Group Audit Methodology and the established risk assessment framework
Proactively develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, the Business and respective support areas and work in an integrated manner with fellow team members both locally and globally
Skills You'll Need
Master's degree in quantitative field or other relevant qualification
Strong expertise in Model Risk Management with expertise in model development, model risk management, quantitative modelling, or analytics experience within banking risk management framework
Advanced understanding of the Banking risk and control environment, and the regulatory environment related to model risk management (SR11-7)
Advanced experience in the delivery of audit related assignments (ideally in complex financial services environments) and Commercial Banking or Investment Banking role (or respective Auditor role) or experience in a MoRM second line function
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Strong communication skills both oral and written, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within Group Audit and with stakeholders

Flexible, pro-active, self-sufficient with the ability and enthusiasm to work in a high-pressure environment and deliver under tight deadlines
Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
