Responsible for the conversion of legacy system into strategic service based platform for new Asset classes across Morgan Stanley and E*TRADE business flows. Architect and design complete system including data models, services and APIs. Work on the complete software development life cycle and deliveries for new platforms following AGILE-based practices. Create services based on core framework. Design and service APIs for newly distributed systems.
Requirements :
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Any), Computer Science, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as an Associate, Analyst, or a closely related occupation. Requires five (5) years of experience with: Java, J2EE, Spring, REST, and Apache Camel; ORM including Hibernate, Spring JPA, and JDBC Template; developing applications for Middle office and back-office functions across asset classes including Mutual Funds, UITS, and 529; Agile practices; implementing messaging using EMS, MQ, and KAFKA; test frameworks incluidng Junit, Mockito, and Selenium; Performance tuning using JMeter, and AppDynamics; DevOps and CICD using tools including Jenkins, Hudson, and Jules; high volume processing and ETL processes.
