Job Description
This role will be centered around treasury sales and relationship building within our Industrials industry vertical in Citi's Commercial Bank. The key duties include originating new opportunities, winning new opportunities, defending existing business, realizing revenue from wins, and maintaining strong client relationships.
The ideal candidate with take an entrepreneurial attitude to rapidly integrate into their role. The Global Solution Sales is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to team strategy. The individual needs to have strong communication and diplomacy skills.
Responsibilities:
This role will include but not limited to partnering with our Relationship Managers globally to actively prospect, deepen and further grow our Industrials portfolio. The selected candidate will also partner with our product sales team as well as our product partners to deliver strategic treasury solutions for our clients. Candidates will also be responsible for pipeline management, reporting metrics as well as developing our incoming talent.
Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of clients and take global, regional, and local accountability for delivering Treasury and Cash Management solutions to their clients.
Responsible for actively calling on clients in partnership with partners across the bank to deepen relationships.
Act as the primary global point of contact and accountability for Treasury solutions within their portfolio.
Global, regional, and local responsibility to grow their Treasury revenues; focused on finding new opportunities while building a trusted advisor status with Clients and Relationship Managers.
Drives innovation on the solutions we provide clients.
Shares knowledge with other sales consultants and junior staff.
Always ensures compliance with regulatory requirements including Citi's policies and guidelines.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating close consideration for the firm's reputation while safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, assets, and clients.
Knowledge/Experience:
A highly motivated and experienced Salesperson with a track record of prospecting new clients and driving new revenue within a large and growing portfolio of corporations. The individual should have financial sales, treasury product partnerships, or corporate treasury experience.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6-10 years corporate or commercial banking experience.
Undergraduate business degree.
MBA or professional experience preferred.
Proven track record of supporting the growth of client relationships.
