Citigroup's Non-Agency Residential Mortgage Group, a unit within Global Spread Products, is seeking to add an Analyst to its existing team. The broader business trades Residential Loans, provides debt facilities, securitization and advisory services to our institutional clients and touches non-agency assets including seasoned performing, re-performing and non-performing loans, new origination prime and near prime loans, HELOC and closed end second mortgages, mortgage servicing rights, small balance commercial (SBC) loans and single family rental (SFR) and I-Buyer assets. Existing clients are well capitalized non-bank originators, hedge funds, private equity funds, servicers, single family operators and REITs with expertise in originating, aggregating, and/or managing residential mortgage assets.
The candidate will join a larger team of analysts and gain exposure to analytics, diligence, banking, and trading functions within the overall business. Analysts will be introduced to the fixed income securities markets and will interact directly with trading, structuring, banking and external clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the fixed income financial markets.
Qualifications:
Applicants should be recent graduates, preferably with an academic specialization in a quantitative or technical discipline such as Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics
Candidates with programming experience (e.g. SQL, Python, etc.) and proficiency in Excel are preferred.
Must be willing to work in a demanding transaction-oriented environment, organized, detail-oriented, and have the ability to manage competing priorities.
