Our client, a top Chinese securities firm with over 30 years of experience, is seeking multiple highly skilled Java experts to join their team in Hong Kong. The role will play a crucial role in revamping the firm's Order Management System (OMS), FIX (Financial Information Exchange), and other related systems. Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is required to collaborate with the team effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance Java applications for the firm's OMS, FIX protocols, and other related systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and integrate various components.
• Participate in the firm's ongoing efforts to optimize and improve trading workflows and connectivity with external systems.
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of Java applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical expertise and recommendations.
• Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging technologies in Java development and financial trading systems.

Requirements:

• More than five years of experience in Java development within the financial industry.
• Experience in OMS, FIX, and Aeron trading systems is a huge advantage.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to propose and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in Mandarin or Cantonese, both written and verbal.
