We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent and Development Operations Director to lead and manage various critical functions related to talent and development within our organization. The role involves overseeing reporting, budgets, metrics dashboards, procurement processes, administration, and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS), as well as enabling scheduling and logistics of learning programs. The Talent and Development Operations Director will also play a pivotal role in providing project management and change management processes, tracking and monitoring the team budget, and fostering a digital learning ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting and Metrics: Develop and maintain reports and metrics dashboards to track the effectiveness of talent and development initiatives. Provide regular reports to senior management, identifying key insights and areas for improvement.
Budget Management: Manage and oversee the budget for talent and development operations. Ensure cost-effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial guidelines.
Procurement Processes: Lead the procurement process for development resources, software, vendors and other resources. Evaluate vendors and partner with the Procurement team to negotiate contracts to secure the best deals for the organization.
Learning Management System (LMS): In partnership with the HR Systems team, provide thought leadership on the organization's Learning Management System (Cornerstone) strategy and how it's leveraged with other tools such as HRIS (Workday). Ensure the LMS is fully utilized to achieve organizational goals. Administer and maintain the technical aspects of our content providers (LinkedIn Learning and Harvard Manage Mentor). Deliver metrics related to these tools.
Scheduling and Logistics: Coordinate the scheduling and logistics of various learning programs and events. Ensure seamless execution and a positive learning experience for participants.
Project and Change Management: Provide project management support for talent and development initiatives. Plan, execute, and oversee projects related to learning and development. Implement change management processes to facilitate the adoption of new learning programs and practices within the organization.
Team Budget Tracking: Monitor and manage the budget for the talent and development team. Ensure that team expenditures align with the overall budget.
Digital Learning Ecosystem: In partnership with our HR Technology group, foster the development and maintenance of a digital learning ecosystem, including e-learning platforms, content repositories, and knowledge-sharing tools.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's in a related field
7+ Years Proven experience in talent, learning and development operations, preferably in a leadership role.
Strong analytical and financial management skills.
Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and e-learning platforms and reporting tools.
Excellent project management, process management and change management skills.
Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
Familiarity with digital learning technologies and trends.
Leadership and team management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree
