Overview
Deutsche Bank operates one of the world's leading domestic custody franchises offering financial institutions / corporate clients a comprehensive range of core services, including custody, and clearing. The Securities Services (SeS) group sits within the Corporate Bank division of Deutsche Bank with primary focus on Custody and Fund Services. The Vice President will need to understand Custody Products in depth yet can speak in the language of business outcomes for clients. As well as work directly with business, operations, and technology to deliver client custody products and solutions in the Americas region. The role supports the globally deployed products, although the primary focus will be on Americas, predominantly US Securities, and covering the full suite of Securities Services products in the region. You will work closely with the SeS Sales, regional country heads and regional securities services product management team to deliver best in class solutions to our existing and target clients.

What You'll Do
Working within the securities product management team, providing both custody product knowledge and execution support to the delivery of the custody product roadmap across the Business, operations, and technology
Setting product capabilities and roadmap for GCM Clearing Services in Equites and Fixed Income / Custody functions in Support of Prime Brokerage Solutions
Providing expertise and custody product knowledge as a Product Owner within an agile delivery framework. Providing product / business requirements to delivery teams to allow the construction or of new, and update of existing, securities services products
Pro-active risk and issue management, identifying critical risks or issues, ensuring mitigation actions in conjunction with the assigned project / program managers
Accountability for the content and delivery of the custody product roadmap. Ensuring change control processes are in place and followed by all delivery partners
Tracking all impacted IT system release dates and working with delivery partners to ensure releases are delivered according to the project regulatory deadlines
How You'll Lead
Contribute to client connectivity globally for SeS, working in close partnership with business partners, operations, and technology for delivery
Supports the development of people, coach direct reports and others in the organization, as appropriate
Interact with stakeholders and senior management
Skills You'll Need
A detailed understanding of Securities Services in the US Market, focused on Securities Custody
An in-depth knowledge of project planning concepts
Experience at interacting widely through a banking organization. Strong analytical skills. The ability to analyze product risks and issues, highlighting critical and high issues requiring immediate attention
Strong business case/development plan experience; Interest in all things FinTech/Digital and a passion for solving customer problems with tech
Performance and result oriented with strong business acumen. Entrepreneurial thinking with client interaction experience

Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $130,000 to $200,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
