Help conduct the smooth operation of a fast-paced-and friendly-financial planning office. Work as an employee of an independent advisor franchisee with a financial advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial. Assist in daily business operations. The client service coordinator will assist financial advisors in working with clients to help them achieve their financial goals. This is a full-time position, projected for 40 hours weekly. Duties must be performed on site.
As a client service coordinator, you will be instrumental in creating and delivering a unique client experience that defines and differentiates the practice. This position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when dealing with others and/or performing work activities. This role provides client relationship support through contacting clients, maintaining client documents, working with clients to resolve issues and other practice management tasks as needed. Responds to ad hoc requests, coordinates/tracks projects and other needs to maintain a successful practice. Responsibilities and time allocation may change over time to meet the needs of the practice and can include other duties as assigned by the advisor.
Position Functions include but are not limited to the following:
Maintain meeting calendar for 2 advisors
Process all documents in paper or electronic form and store appropriately
Manage all incoming and outgoing calls
Submit new business
Prepare client meeting folders
Manage client relationship manager tool
Manage electronic document storage system
Education and other designations:
Associate degree or higher preferred.
2+ years of similar industry experience, or 3 years of professional office experience.
$20 - $22/hour, commensurate with experience
