We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Corporate Actions analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the accurate and timely handling of corporate actions events setup and processing. Your responsibilities will include reviewing corporate action events dates, comprehending key event details, reconciling, and processing eligible entitlements. This role presents an exceptional opportunity to acquire valuable skills and knowledge in complex processes, particularly through actively supporting parent-bank merger and participating in wind-down activities. Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with the team in daily business-as-usual (BAU) processes, involving the gathering, validation, and processing of the entire lifecycle of corporate actions events, entitlements reconciliation, and booking using multiple systems against Custodian advice accurately and in within established timelines.
Responding to stakeholder queries promptly and accurately, maintaining effective communication channels.
Liaise with custodians, brokers, and counterparties whenever necessary to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth processing.
Provide support for Integration/Migration activities arising from parent-bank merger
Learn and understand the overview of controls framework to effectively support wind-down activities.
Identify gaps in processes and promptly escalate any issue/nuances upon identification.
