An Ameriprise Private Wealth Advisory Practice with multiple office locations in the State of Ohio assisting clients in meeting their financial goals with an emphasis on creating and delivering a unique client experience that defines and differentiates the practice.
To assist a busy private wealth advisory practice with investment assistance at an expert level. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who has an educational background in Finance and wants to be a successful member of a private wealth advisory team. This position provides an opportunity for growth and continued education in the field of comprehensive financial planning and investment management. This position supports the team by coordinating the trading duties across all office locations.
Full-time Pay rate commensurate with experience. Location: Gahanna, Ohio Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for trading duties for all office locations, including, but not limited to buy/sell fixed income, equities, structured products, and help with trading and monitoring of proprietary investment models.
Produce client-facing investment proposals alongside recommendations.
Contribute to individual stock research and modeling of fair values for covered positions.
Monitor mutual fund and ETF universe and related factor exposure within proprietary models.
Create and maintain database of economic data models.
Client Servicing (fielding phone confirmations, emails, subject matter expert in meetings with advisors, and management requests). Acts as the secondary point of contact for fielding client trade requests, money movement requests, and related questions.
Supports compliance within the practice and develops an understanding and adheres to all compliance regulations consistent with applicable law and Broker Dealer requirements, as it pertains to investments.
This position will consistently follow high standards of business and professional ethics and legal and regulatory requirements when dealing with others and/or performing work activities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Securities Licenses - Series 7 required within 90 days of hire.
Interest in becoming a Chartered Financial Analyst?? (CFA??). Additional compensation opportunities may be available upon passing each level of the CFA?? and becoming a CFA?? Charterholder.
Proficiency in Word and Outlook required; Advanced Excel skill.
Experience in high volume environment preferred.
Excellent time management skills and superior attention to detail.
