Our client operates in the larger loan side of the market, focused on complex transactions, across Development Finance. Over the last 18 months they have successfully closed ??650m of new business across the UK.??

Given the continued growth plans of the team, a need has arisen to bring in an Associate level candidate, to support the Lending Directors on deal execution duties.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Assist the Directors with analysis, structuring and execution of real estate development transactions.
• Performing due diligence into potential transactions.
• Transaction modelling.
• Helping to prepare credit applications.
• Ongoing and ad-hoc market research, commentary, and data analysis.
• Assist with the management of a transaction from inception through to repayment.
• Assist with the ongoing monitoring of live development transactions across the portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have:

• 3+ years??? experience in real estate debt lending.
• Experience of real estate development finance is??essential.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage internal and external relationships.
• Ability to self-direct, analyse, evaluate, and form independent judgements.
• Strong financial analysis and extensive modelling experience.
• Experience in transaction underwriting and writing investment / credit proposals.
• Solid analytical and critical thinking mindset and attention to detail.
