Overview

Listed Derivatives Business provides Execution (trading) services to Deutsche Bank's internal trading desks and external clients. The Business-aligned technology team covers areas of FIX client connectivity, order management, trading platforms, risk management and market connectivity to the global exchanges.

What You'll Do
Be accountable for all technical phases of the client onboarding lifecycle for the Listed Derivatives (LD) Asset Class - futures and options electronic trading
Build out requirements and evolve the LD Application Programming Interface (API) and FIX connectivity offerings - managing both in-house built and vendor technology products
Work with the end client teams to establish connectivity and perform FIX certifications
Deploy and maintain the client connectivity layer for the assigned connectivity hubs; plan and perform technical refresh of the underlying infrastructure to ensure compliance
Engineer solutions to minimize occurrence & prevent recurrence of production issues and to facilitate reduced mean time to recovery
Design & engineer solutions and services with embedded risk and security controls as mitigation against threats
Skills You'll Need
Understanding of Listed Derivatives (LD) Products trading (Futures and Options) and Pre/Post Trade Workflows
Experience in a prior customer facing role where the professional can leverage knowledge of the client/ vendor/ exchange/ third-party platform base - Americas Region (or globally)
Knowledge of Networking, Unix/Linux OS, shell/Perl scripting
Understanding of electronic trading workflow
Knowledge of FIX 4.2/4.4/5.0 protocols, previous client onboarding experience preferable

Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $95,000 to $140,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
