Overview
The Jacksonville based Vendor Coverage team of Group Audit (GA) undertakes professional audit work in accordance with the GA's methodology to provide audit coverage of Deutsche Bank's external vendor portfolio. As such, it works in a cooperative manner with all other teams across the function as they all receive external vendor services and with the Subject Matter Expert (SME) team responsible for the coverage related to Procurement, Third Party Management (TPM) and Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM). The team members onsite work independently and flexible in the way they approach their work.

What You'll Do
Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of the diverse vendor control environments to meet key control requirements of the Bank
Undertake multiple audit assignments, draft high-quality audit reports for review by audit management, facilitate issue tracking and validate closure of issues. Participate in meetings with business stakeholders and be able to translate into outcomes
Pro-actively develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues, the Business and respective support areas and work in an integrated manner with fellow team members both locally and globally. Use a range of approaches to collect relevant and readily available information to assess risk, resolve issues or carry out tasks
Develop and maintain regulatory knowledge & experience specifically regarding outsourcing, which is a highly regulated area in various jurisdictions. Stay abreast of business/industry changes and their effect on the Bank's vendor risk management approach and the department's audit plan, methodology and risk assessments
When required, assist in training other GA staff
Skills You'll Need
Master's in economics, finance or comparable (e.g., auditor certification, business law)
Thorough understanding of the banking risk and control environment, and knowledge of the regulatory environment specifically outsourcing related. This ideally should be demonstrated through practical experience in an internal audit role
Expert experience in the delivery of audit related assignments (ideally in complex financial services environments or respective Auditor role) as well as data management and/or analysis/review of processes and project management
Skills That Will Help You Excel
A willingness to accept responsibility, a high level of personal integrity and an eye for detail without losing the big picture
Strong written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within Group Audit and with Stakeholders - and the ability to stand the ground when challenged
The ability to work with minimal supervision, multi-task assignments, set the priorities for the team and ensure consistent delivery of services with good quality assured
