The Location: Houston, TX; Denver, CO
The Team: Upstream North America Content manages a portfolio of data products for Land, Subsurface, Well, and Production personas for traditional oil and gas and decarbonization workflows. Our goal is to discover new sources of growth through continuous product innovation.
The Impact: You will be responsible for discovering how our portfolio of Land and Lease Rights data can be leveraged to develop technology-powered products that create new value to our upstream North America customers. Our Land product portfolio will enable our Upstream clients to leverage the digital transformation in the oil and gas industry by automating critical workflows. You will be the undisputed expert on Upstream North America Land and Lease Rights and enable new sources of growth by discovering our next generation of solutions.

Responsibilities:
Domain expertise: you will set a Product Vision that addresses our Land personas issues, pains, desires, how they think, how they work, how they decide to buy. You will be the undisputed expert on all aspects of our Upstream North America Land portfolio.
Data-based decision-making: you will build and use Sales and Usage analytics to understand product health and drive product vision.
Technology expertise: you will create technology-powered products for Land personas.
Product Management: you will lead a Product Team that will build technology-powered data products for the Upstream North America Land market. You understand our competitors, key trends in technology, customer behaviors and expectations.
Leadership: you will directly manage a small team of 2 to 3 Product Owners.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
10+ years working in energy industry technology-powered products as either a product manager, product designer, landman, GIS analyst, data analyst, data scientist, or user researcher.
Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business - development, design, data science, finance, sales, or marketing.
Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative.
Proven ability to engage with developers, data scientists, designers, commercial, legal, subject matter experts, and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,100 to $ 175,300. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.
