Overview
Our Market Risk Analysis and Control team provides analytical support for market risk managers and stakeholders (front-office) on statistical models (incl. but not limited to Value at Risk (VaR), Stressed Value at Risk (SVaR), Risk Weighted Assets (RWA) and EC) as well as what-if analysis for new transactions and risk appetite setting on legal entity level. In this role you will work closely with market risk managers and front-office stakeholders on analyzing daily risk moves, portfolio dependencies, and key risk drivers both on portfolio and asset class level. Our team of experts will be there to coach and support your development to ensure you excel in this role.
The Chief Risk Office function has Group-wide responsibility for the management and control of all credit, market, operational, enterprise and liquidity risks and has the responsibility of continual development of methods for risk measurement, frameworks and creating a bank wide strong risk culture. What You'll Do
Weekly monitoring/analysis on risk exposures and key metrics (VaR/ PST), as well as ad hoc analysis for senior management use, including interactions with regulators (Federal Reserve Bank (FRB) MAPs meetings, Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA))
Production and analysis of monthly Risk & Capital Profile reporting (DB USA/DBSI/DBNY/AG Cayman)
Manage quarterly Market Risk identification process, compiling and analyzing the results for input to the annual Comprehensive Capital Analysis Review (CCAR) filing
Coordination and analysis of annual (and ad hoc) Risk Appetite review & calibration across US legal entities. Provide decision documents and rationales for senior management
Participation in quarterly ERM Risk Identification process - assessing likelihood & severity of Portfolio market risks
Support and conduct regular and ad-hoc portfolio analysis across US legal entities for senior management (e.g. intermediate holding company (IHC)/DBSI exposure overlap for DBSI Risk ExCo)
Skills You'll Need
Relevant experience in Credit and Credit Markets, understanding of Financial Markets
Background in market risk, thorough understanding of VaR, Greeks and credit-relevant sensitivities
Strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $85,000 to $140,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration
