You will deliver performance and reward advice and process to the Americas HR Head ensuring adherence to country policy guidelines, regulatory requirements and benchmarking against wider market practice. You will manage governance activities as well as the design and project management relating to Deutsche Bank's Americas (USA, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Columbia) country Policies, Frameworks and Processes related to rewards. Stakeholders that you work with include colleagues from the Performance & Reward team, Regional and Country level HR as well as Chief Operating Officer (COOs) and senior business stakeholders from the functions. In all aspects of this role, your collaboration with the Bank's control function groups, including tax, legal and regulatory functions, and external advisors is key.

What You'll Do
Act as Subject Matter Expert and specialist advisor who provides guidance to Human Resources (HR) (including the various Performance & Reward delivery functions where relevant), to other control functions and Divisional rewards leads
Define, manage and oversee delivery of performance and reward process including fixed pay and variable compensation planning
Ensure compliance with Group governance and regulatory requirements for the various legal entities across the Americas
Provide/Coordinate advice to different stakeholders in the country with regard to hiring and retention and change to performance and reward policy and frameworks
Analyse and assess regulatory and market practice developments in relation to their impacts, to ensure that Products/Plans, Policies, Frameworks and Processes are operated in a compliant manner and in line with best practice. Co-ordinate and establish regular benchmarking of Deutsche Bank's compensation against competitor practices and stay on top of industry and general trends
Collaborate regionally to assess, design, implement, govern & project manage the introduction of proposed or approved changes to policies related to rewards

You will serve as the key stakeholder interacting with the Americas Heads of Divisions and functions
You will have a direct report supporting you to deliver the Americas Performance & Reward book of work
Skills You'll Need
In depth knowledge of compensation topics (including experience with regulatory requirements, setting up of policies, plan rule and process documentation) and performance and reward topics in a global environment (with expertise in the Americas market)
Exhibit strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have the ability to draft communication and documentation well
Experience with working in a global / matrixed environment
Knowledge of project management and exposure to execution under pressured deadlines
Experience with relationship management, negotiating, consulting, and managing a team (virtually)

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $115,000-189,750. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
