Overview
Deutsche Bank's Healthcare Corporate Banking Coverage (CBC) group manages relationships with large Healthcare corporations globally to solve diverse problems for clients; the US Healthcare CBC group covers US Headquartered clients and their international subsidiaries in Europe, Middle East and Africa, Region Asia Pacific, and Brazil. As an Associate, you will be required to work with product partners drawing from the full spectrum of the Firm's resources to develop customized financial solutions to meet the needs of clients. You will work directly with Managing Directors, Directors, and Vice Presidents, supporting them with all client activities (marketing, execution, and ongoing relationship management). You will also assume responsibility for managing internal processes for deal executions, internal approvals, business aspects of regulatory reporting and ongoing management of client relationships. As an Associate, you will also be an important knowledge resource for Analysts and Interns, helping to advance their development in the Bank.

What You'll Do
Assist Corporate Bankers in managing existing Healthcare client relationships and developing new client base in the Medial Devices, MedTech, Managed Care and Pharmaceuticals space. Developing an understanding of the competition's products/offerings
Develop proficiency across all products within the scope of Corporate Finance (Credit, Debt Capital Markets, Foreign Exchange, Rates, Asset Management, Cash Management, Trade Finance, and Investor Services)
Assist in the preparation of pitch books and other marketing materials to help generate new business. Prepare internal approval documents such as credit memos and capital allocation forum memos. Help with industry and credit analysis (review financial statements, listen to and summarize investor presentations, and support credit approval and documentation process). Maintain internal reports including deal tracking, pipeline reports, credit commitments, capital outstanding
Conduct industry and company research. Assist with Know Your Client process and new client/entity onboarding requests. Assisting Corporate Bankers with RFP/RFI solution development
Operational dialogue with our clients' Treasury departments. Understanding the clients' cash management structure and capital structure objectives. Conducting pricing analyses and supporting the development of pricing strategy/recommendations
Working on new bids including cost/benefit analysis, pricing, and profitability models, etc
Skills You'll Need
Bachelor's degree with outstanding academic credentials
High level of motivation, dependability, intelligence, and ethics
Strong quantitative, analytical and computer skills including PowerPoint and Excel-based modeling
Proficiency with research tools, including FactSet
Series 63 & 79 license holders strongly preferred (will be required)
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex problems into concise conclusions
Time management, organization and planning skills
Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources
Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York City office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $80,000 to $125,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
