The Role

  • Research, develop and implement strategies within the firm's automated trading framework.
  • Utilize advanced statistical techniques to analyze extensive datasets for identifying trading opportunities.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of market structures across diverse exchanges and asset classes.

Typical Day

  • Primary focus is researching and implementing trading ideas.
  • Verify data readiness and processes before market opening.
  • Monitor strategy performance intermittently during market hours.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong quantitative educational foundation, from a top tier University, encompassing Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Financial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, or Physics.
  • Proficiency in one major programming or scripting language (C++, Java, Python).
  • Exceptional communication skills for seamless collaboration across regions.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining productivity.
