Overview
Deutsche Bank Technology is a global team of tech specialists, spread across multiple trading hubs and tech centers. We have a strong focus on promoting technical excellence - our engineers work at the forefront of financial services innovation using cutting-edge technologies. Deutsche Bank Market Risk Technology platforms utilize large-scale distributed computing capability and Big Data technologies to process over 600 billion scenario points a day for Market & Credit Risk metrics with dynamic aggregation capability across the raw scenarios to generate metrics such as Value at Risk (VAR), Expected Potential Exposure and Portfolio Stress Scenario Metrics. As a NFT engineer you will be responsible for all the testing platform Non Financial Risk (NFRs) and utilize new innovations that provide self-service analytics and dashboarding capability to our clients through the form of a Python toolkit servicing over 500 risk and analytics users across the Bank.

What You'll Do
Collect and analyze NFR requirements and enhancements, communicate with architects and tech leads on non-functional requirements clarification
Create test approaches for NFT for the feature or component
Develop required tools/scripts for test automation
Prepare test data
Define test automation features for other teams
Skills You'll Need
Extensive experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and NFT (including NFT test approach creation applying different NFT types)
Understanding of Hardware and Network metrics, behavior driven development (or design) (BDD) and test driven development (or design) (TDD) approaches
Experience with scripting language (like Perl, Shell script or Python), core Java (classes and OOP model, data structures, file operations, work with XML, failures evaluation, basic architecture solutions, and how JVM works including memory allocations, GC), Structured Query Language (SQL), and Unix
Strong knowledge of SQL and Unix commands
Experience in Corporate Insurance (CI) deployment and support

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $95,000 to $140,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
