About the Client Service Team
This role will be reporting to the Head of Client Service within the firm's Core Institutional team. The primary responsibility is to help drive overall client satisfaction and as a result, client retention and expansion among the firm's private real estate clients. The main focus will be in working closely with our real estate investment team and related resources to fulfil recurring and ad hoc information requests from existing investors in the firm's real estate funds. As a member of the Americas Coverage Group, and alongside senior team members, you will develop relationships with key stakeholders, assist in business development and further drive operational efficiency.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Serving as the real estate client specialist in support of existing clients, focusing on our sub advised open-end fund investors and working with the fund sponsor's Investor Relations team
Working with internal and outsourced fund reporting and operations groups to facilitate quarterly and ad hoc information requests from clients & consultants
Assisting with the accurate and timely completion of various information requests for new and existing clients, including quarterly and annual, recurring and one-off information requests from existing real estate clients, consultants and prospects
Writing quarterly commentary and other responses related to our real estate funds for use by broader coverage team
Coordination of various DWS teams and resources on our clients' behalf, including portfolio management, research & strategy, legal/compliance, marketing and coverage.
Assisting in the creation or review of marketing materials, RFP's and Quarterly Reports for respective region
Utilizing the sales management tool (Salesforce.com) for client and opportunity management, mail campaigns, prospect updates, and target strategies
Working closely with marketing review group to ensure regulatory compliance and accountability
Your Skills & Experience:
Self-motivated and enthusiastic team player, able to work with others in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Attention to detail, responsiveness, deadline focused balanced by the ability to manage the efficient and effective use of internal resources
Good understanding of financial services including knowledge of and experience with private real estate investments
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Hands-on personal computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams as well as Salesforce.com or other comparable CRM tools
5+ years of relevant financial services experience; institutional client servicing experience preferred
BA/BS degree, or equivalent, preferably in business, finance or a related field

Expectations
It is DWS's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in accordance with the firm's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $84,000 to $153,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
