Overview
As the Business functional Analyst, you will be joining the Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) Technology team and will work as part of a multi-skilled agile team, dedicated to improved automation and tooling to support continuous delivery. Your team will work hard to foster increased collaboration and create an engineering culture. You will make a crucial contribution to our efforts to be able to release our software more frequently, efficiently and with less risk. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging problems, building high-performance systems to process large volumes of data, using the latest technologies.

What You'll Do
Leading and collaborating across teams, team management, mentoring and teaching, discovering new techniques and helping others to adopt them and leading by example
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including Daily Stand up's, Sprint Planning, Sprint review, Sprint retrospective meetings and taking part in software and architectural design activities
Collects and defines business requirements in partnership and in collaboration with the Business area
Works as required with product owners, clients, business functional analysts and engineers (including offshore teams) to ensure that solution design and implementation meet the Business requirements
Create required documentation for the JIRA epics, features, and stories
Recommend changes to improve established application processes
Skills You'll Need
Understanding of transaction monitoring systems (Mantas, Actimize SAM, Smaragd or Prime)
Experience in a financial domain (capital markets, transaction banking, wealth management) and/or related support functions
Experience in Google Cloud Platform or other cloud solutions such as AWS
Experience in business analysis, data analytics and Structured Query Language (SQL)
Ability to create stories, features, epics and participate in sprint and QBR planning ceremonies
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Good analytical problem-solving capabilities
Excellent communication skills written and oral enabling authoring of documents that will support a technical team in performing development work
Expectations
It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $85,000 to $140,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
