Senior Regulatory Officer

London

Role:

• Risk-based supervision of the Sector using a range of tools including:
• Regulatory returns;
• Supervision visits;
• CPD returns;
• Thematic reviews;
• Development and implementation of authorisation and quality assurance schemes;
• Assessment of incoming information;
• Taking senior level responsibility for complex cases.
• Analysing information and producing reports on regulatory returns, thematic reviews and at regular intervals on the whole market, including developing proposals for future supervision priorities.
• Planning and implementing supervision projects and setting up systems to administer them.
• Ensuring authorisation applications are managed, prioritised and assessed within regulatory and target timescales

Senior Regulatory Officer

Essential:

• Strong knowledge and understanding of operating in a regulatory regime
• Ability to analyse information, taking decisions against defined criteria
• Ability to work independently and deliver results
• Good understanding of regulation and accreditation systems
• Demonstrable experience in effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and accurately, verbally and in writing
• Ability to build effective working relationships across and beyond organisational boundaries
