What's In It For You:
S&P Global Market Intelligence is seeking a Project Manager in the APAC regulatory reporting consulting team to ensure successful client regulatory reporting project planning and delivery. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in scoping and managing client regulatory reporting integration projects, both small and large. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable working with clients, analyze regulatory requirements, and working with client development teams to implement solutions, answering regulatory queries. Ideally the candidate will have some experience in mainly APAC regulatory reporting - MAS, HKMA, ASIC, JFSA. Previous experience with EMIR, MiFID, CFTC and\or SFTR would also be favorable. The role is client facing and requires a high degree of technical competence.
Responsibilities:
As a Regulatory Reporting Project Manager within the Cappitech Managed Services area you will have the following responsibilities:
Experience in leading vendor system integration projects specific to regulatory reporting
Structure and manage FMI vendor integration projects across multiple stakeholders and levels
Demonstrate regulatory reporting knowledge to help analyze and understand MAS, ASIC, HKMA, JFSA, EMIR, transaction reporting regulatory requirements with external and internal stakeholders, and drive delivery to project milestones
Engage in pre-sales scoping of the client's regulatory consulting requirements
Oversee production and quality of structured analysis and design documents
Work with QA and Development during testing to ensure that implementation meets design and requirements
Participate in the review of investments and trading portfolio, to assess reportability of all instruments under the MAS, ASIC, HKMA, JFSA reporting, EMIR and MiFID regimes
Participate in gap analyses between our clients' reporting practices for MAS, ASIC, HKMA, JFSA reporting and the regulatory requirements
Participate in reviewing our clients' policies and control frameworks, compared to industry standards and regulatory requirements
Contribute to business analysis and guidance on reporting requirements, data quality and reporting governance
Conduct public presentation of concepts and ideas comfortably to stakeholders
Identify options for potential solutions, including the assessment of technical and business suitability
Work collaboratively and consistently with team members at all levels - peers, senior analysts, managers and complex stakeholder groups across geographical boundaries
Work creatively, propose ideas, and contribute to working groups and team meetings
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor or Master's degree in business administration, technology, or a similar discipline
10+ years of relevant professional experience
Project management methodology experience, eg Prince2 or PMI
MAS, ASIC, HKMA, JFSA, EMIR, MIFID business analysis experience or skills
Experience of large FMI vendor integration projects
Prior regulatory reporting consultancy experience would be highly desirable
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
Strong interpersonal & communication skills
Structured and detail oriented
Good Knowledge of requirements elicitation, structured analysis, requirements documentation, stakeholder management, use case definition and other business analysis techniques
Exposure to general technology know-how would be desirable
Understanding of FPML, XML Schemas, DTDs, XSL Transformation style sheets would be beneficial
Understanding of technologies sFTP and MQ
Familiarity with financial derivatives including OTC derivatives, clearing and regulatory reporting of OTC transactions would be beneficial
