This Senior Business Intelligence Engineer will be a key member of our BI Platform team. You will help to develop and maintain BI platforms, universes, reports and dashboards using the SAP Business Objects toolset. You will be working with partners to understand requirements and effectively prioritize for their implementation. In addition to hands-on technical work, you will also be encouraged to put together proposals for new solutions to improve existing processes, to align with projects being built by the wider technology teams and get an opportunity to learn & work with other BI platforms such as Power BI & MicroStrategy.
Responsibilities: ??? Be the subject matter expert for Business Intelligence ??? Engineer new features by using your business acumen to improve analytical tools. ??? Install, configure, and upgrade Business Objects Enterprise platform, maintain patch levels. ??? Monitor and solve for the Business Objects environment to ensure availability, performance, manage security and user access. ??? Expert level experience and knowledge is required in Universe development and reports development

Requirements: ??? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field ??? At least 5+ years of experience in Business Objects architecture, design, development, implementation, and migration ??? Extensive knowledge and experience with SAP Business Objects 4.3 BI Platform including Information Design Tool, Universe Design Tool ??? Experience developing universes with a clear understanding of joins, contexts, and cardinalities. ??? Experience with Business Objects performance optimization and troubleshooting any issues. ??? Business Objects Restful SDK experience/Knowledge along with Visual Studio C# .NET ??? Good interpersonal skills to interact with business users, IT teams, and management. ??? Experience with other BI tools such as Power BI, Micro Strategy is a plus
PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
Salary Range: $ 117,000.00 - $ 144,500.00
